Position: Corporate Controller

Status:	Exempt

Reporting to:	Director of Finance/CFO
Job Location:	Elmhurst, New York

Position Overview:
Supervise all day-to-day operations of accounting department, including accounts receivable and payables.

Responsibilities:

• Month-end close
• Preparation of financial statements
• Forecast, budgets and analysis of financial data
• Interfacing with external accountants and auditors
• Periodically travel to other company locations.

Requirements:

• Must have 5+ years in accounting/finance department of wholesale distribution or manufacturing environment with consolidations
• A degree in Accounting or MBA in Business with emphasis in accounting
• CPA/CMA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years working experience as Controller or management role
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills
